Oracle Session 3 recorded in Storefront
Far from being an airtight sound-proof box, the Eris Temple Artspace/52nd st. storefront is a noisy environment from buses and ATV gangs, to the pedestrians just inches outside the ten foot tall glass windows.
Children of middle-school age, amuzed and befuddled, were leaning on our windows as myself, Michael McGettigan, Adam Katz (grandchildren), and Lora Bloom (radio eris) clap and stomp with smiles on our faces into large, poofy microphones on that great, sunny Sunday.

The sound of "The Strip" is important to the Oracle Sessions project and it will be apparent in the 3rd Session that the sounds of the "natural" environment play a part in the musical influences of our West Philly grinding, melding, shifting sounds.
